It is written, "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine; but a broken spirit drieth the bones".
Proverbs
17:22
"Joy, temperance and repose slam the door
on the doctor's nose". Henry
Wadsworth Longfellow, Poet
If you say you don't
have time to laugh, you are obviously way too busy.
We don't
quit laughing because we grow old. we grow old because we
quit laughing.
In 1999, Loma Linda
University School of Medicine study reported that
children laugh about 400 times a day, while the average
adult laughs only fifteen times a day. Dr. Lee S.
Berk, director of the study, said,
"Somewhere
between childhood and adulthood, we lose the ability to
laugh."
